A descendant emailed me on 1 Dec 2002:
"I was looking at your listing for Delaney Grannell and thought I would add that Fanny had a twin named Phoebe Emmeline. She went by Emma." Added in a later email: Upon the death of her father, the family moved from New Brunswick, Canada to Cape Elizabeth, Maine. They moved in with one of Phebe's brothers, probably Charles, EXCEPT for Phebe & her twin sister. The two of them lived with "the Sawyer Family".
Note that Phebe's sisters Abigail & Margaret, maried sons of Edmund & Nancy Sawyer.

Message: Following the death of Delaney in 1853 in Cocagne/Buctouche, NB, the mother and several unmarried children (Andrew, Albert, Margaret, Louise, Emma, and Fannie) emigrated to Cape Elizabeth and then Chebeague Island. Fannie's twin sister was Phoebe Emmeline (Emma) Grannell. They lived with the Sawyer family near the stone wharf on Chebeague for several years in the 1850's. Emma married John Ridley and migrated west to Iowa, Minnesota, and died in Montana in 1921.
