"Five Generations of Descendants of Robert and Elizabeth Mansfield",

compiled by Bob Anderson, identifies her as John's wife and gives her

birthdate, but does not identify her parents.

"Stone Sloops of Chebeague" (1949), chart p. 122, has her listed as "Emma

Mansfield", daughter of Abner C. & Mary Hill. Her husband is not identified.

She does not show up on the Mansfield chart, however, that chart says

that"not all children are listed".

The 1880 census for Cumberland Twp, Cumberland Co., Maine

(Ancestry.com image 19 of 35) lists Emma L. Mansfield as head of

household and a dress maker. Enumerated with her:

. Addie S. Hill, age 19, sister

Birth & death data and identity of parents & wife from the LDS Ancestry File and the IGI.

The Ancestry.com index for the 1900 census has an entry for Frank Mansfield. The link is to:

ED 293, Haverhill, Essex Co., Massachusetts (Ancestry.com image 26 of 32). The handwriting is almost undecipherable and stray marks completely (to me) obliterate the name, so I am just trusting that the index is correct. Here is the transcription as best as I can make it out:

. at 16 How Street:

. Frank Mansfield, born [?month] 1865, age 35, married 7 years, he & parents born in Maine, baker.

. Dora, wife, born May 1867, age 33, married 7 years, mother of 3 children - 2 living, born in Massachusetts, parents born in Canada,

. Raymond, son, born Jul 1895, age 4, born in Massachusetts.

. [can't make out name], daughter, born May 1898, age 2, born in Massachusetts.

. There is also a 33 year old male boarder listed.

Regarding the street of residence - note another Mansfield living on thhe same block of the same street 10 years later [coincidence - or are they related?]:

. Clinton T. Mansfield [RIN 10217], age 25, married 7 years, he & parents born in Maine, finisher, shoe factory, renting.

. Alice M., wife, age 25, married 7 years, 2 children, 1 living, she & mother born in French canada, father born in English Canada, immigrated in 1888.

The 1920 Census for ED 77, Concord, Merrimack Co., New Hampshire (Ancestry.com image 9 of 43) at 4 1/2 Morton Street:

. Frank W. Mansfield, renting, age 54, widower, he & mother born in Maine, father born in Massachusetts, baker, bakery.

. Frank P. Halpin, son-in-law, age 43, married, he & parents born in New Hampshire, foreman, steam engine ???? [other men in the neighborhood worked for the "steam railroad"]

. Hagel L. Halpin, daughter-in-law, age 21, maried, born in New Hampshire, father born in Maine, mother born in Massachusetts.

The 1930 census for ED 11, Keene, Cheshire Co., New Hampshire (Ancestry .com image page 1 of 31) shows Frank Mansfield as one of 4 lodgers, age 65, widower, he & parents born in Massachusetts, baker.
