1066-1994", by Gerard Lacey, she was the dau. of EMMA and an unknown

father.

Some sources make her the dau. of Hugh de Lacy - EMMA's brother, but

modern research rejects this. Disconcerting though, is statement that

Gerard Lacey came accross that Cecily, dau. of Sibyl, referred to Hugh de

Lacy as her grandfather in some of her papers.
