"Le Baud (Hist. de Bretagne, 1638, p. 155) states that she was daughter
of ALAN CANIHART, Count of Cornouaille [RIN 4932] and this has been
repeated by subsequent writers; sufficient evidence of her parentage,
however, is lacking."
