Weis' "Ancestral Roots. . ." (110:22) shows Aremburga as dau. of Henry I,

Duke of Burgundy (Rin 3712*), but latest scholarship argues against it.

Stuart's "Royalty For Commoners" (85:32 states that "Aramburga was

formerly thought to be the dau. of Henry I, Duke of Burgundy [RIN 3712*]

and Mahaut de Chalon [RIN 1465 - although I show her first name as

Gerberga], but latest work (1987) (cf. Bouchard, 356-361) says ancestry

unknown."
