One of the so-called "do nothing kings" of the late Merovingian dynasty.

He became king of Austrasia upon the death of his father. His brother,

Clovis II, became king of Neustria.

BERSWINDE (RIN 3708) has been proposed as a daughter (can't remember

the source), but there is no documentable descent from Sigebert or any

Merovingian king.
