Notes

In a 1993 letter, Grace (Mrs. Pomeroy) Murray, John Wesley's aunt, wrote that Wesley owned a laundry in cooperation with his brother, Richard, in Melrose, Massachusetts.

Wesley's niece (daughter of Pomeroy), Eleanor Murray wrote me:

. "Uncle Wesley went to Yarmouth & it was there he met and married Minnie MYER. They did not have any children and treated my brother, sister and I as very special. They were also, I was told extremely kind to Evelyn [his brother Richard Archibald's daughter] taking her along with a neice of Aunt Minnies on trips to P.E.I. Evelyn's mother was Belle MacMillian and she was from New Brunswick.
