. This is a little problematic in that if Henry was indeed born (see below) in 1760, he should have been listed in the over age 45 category.
The 1820 census for Portland Twp. of Cumberland Co., Maine, page 237
shows the families of Henry and Edward Mansfield listed consecutively.
Following are the details of the listing for Henry:
. males: 1, 45 and older [Henry, himself]
. 1, 10-16 [son, William]
. females: 1, 45 and older [wife, Hannah]
. 3, 16 to 25 [daughters Hannah & Mary. Don't know who third one is.]
. One person is listed as being "engaged in commmerce".
. There is a problem explaining how three 16 to 25 year old girls in 1820 proceed from only two under age 15 in the 1810 census. Clara was over 25 and already married in 1820. Perhaps the third female was not an immediate family member.
The 1830 census for Portland Twp. of Cumberland Co., Maine, page 434, shows the families of Henry and Edward Mansfield listed consecutively. The entry for Henry shows one male and one female, each age 60 to 70.
Henry & Hannah, at the time of the 1840 census, are living in Frankfort, Waldo Co., Maine, with their youngest son, William.
The 1850 census for Frankfort, Waldo Co., Maine (Ancestry.com image 13 of 101):
. William Mansfiled, age 46, Merchant, real estate valued at $4800, born in Maine
. Grace, age 45, born in Maine
. Mary, age 14, born in Maine
. Henry Mansfield, age 89, born in Mass.
. Ester R (or K) ------ton (poor penmanship & image quality), age 55, born in Maine
The book "Mansfield Genealogy" by Geneva A. Daland and James S.
Mansfield, M.D., published by Peter E. Randall, Hampton, NH, 1980, lists
Henry & Edward as the two eldest of 7 children of Henry and Hannah (Tuttle) Mansfield. It
is noted that both "died young" - presumably without posterity.

. Henry Mansfield was born about 1760 at Salem, MA was bap't. 21 Oct 1763, died at Winterport, ME. 19 Dec 1854, age 94 yrs. He m'd 2 June 1788, Hannah Tuttle (born about 1771, died at Winterport, ME. 11 Aug 1849, age 78 yrs.). Both are b'd. at the Oak Hill Cemetery Section VI off Lebanon Street, Winterport, ME. with son William and family. (Mansfield Genealogy by Daland & Mansfield)
