Stuart's "Royalty For Commoners" (357:31), gives JEAN DE LA FLETCHE's

wife as Paule, dau. of HERBERT, COUNT OF MAINE (RIN 1412), but her

pedigree from HUGH I, COUNT OF MAINE is garbled !

Then he answered my followup querry :

Stuart's "Royalty For Commoners" (286:38), Count of Pallars & Ribargoza;

liv.916, gives two wives for him, but Todd A. Farmerie, an expert on

medieval Iberian genealogy is sure that Raymond did not marry either of

them. Farmerie also states that Raymond is the earliest verifiable

person in this line and that there are two proposed theories regarding

his ancestry. The line given here is one of them.

On 15 Dec 1997, Todd Farmerie posted the ancestry of TERESA ALFONSO

(RIN 2401) based on the latest research. This generation is confirmed in

that posting.
