Notes

Louda & Maclagan's "Lines of Succession", Table 89, identifies her 1st

husband as ISAAC II (at age 10) and her 2nd husband (at age 29) as

Boniface. It also identifies her parents as BELA III and AGNES.

Rafel Prinkle in a posting to GEN-MEDIEVAL on 20 Jan 2000 added:

. "The marriage with Margaret was part of the diplomatic peace

arrangement in 1186 when Bela invaded the Balkans and marched as far

as Sofia. She was about 11 then so perhaps could not have children right

away but certainly could later."

"Stone Sloops of Chebeague" (1949), chart, p.108. The chart does not

specify which of his father's wives was his mother. If the birth order on the

chart is correct, Jane would have already died when he was born.
