Maurice Chaume, in Table 4 of v.4 of "Les origines du duche de Bourgogne"

(Dijon, 1925-31), identifies him as the son of GARNIER. Chaume also

shows him as the father of LAMBERT, COUNT OF HORNBACH (RIN 4081),

but he is alone in this. Most other sources give LAMBERT's father as a

COUNT GUI.
