"Malan's article raises a different question for me. On p. 126 he says

that BERNARD PLANTEVELUE, son of DHUODA, married Ermengarde,

daughter of Count Warin of Auvergne. ES iii, 734B, shows Ermengarde

who married BERNARD PLANTEVELUE as daughter of a Count Bernard I of

Auvergne. Count Warinus of Auvergne is shown as a son of Bernard I and

brother of Ermengarde. Can anyone shed light on this contradiction?"
