Notes

"Stone Sloops of Chebeague" (1949), chart pp. 120 & 124. There is a note

that "they came to Maine in an oxcart in 1794." See note on his wife that

she moved to Norway, Maine in 1791. No evidence to the contrary, I am

assuming that she went there with John. It would appear that possibly John

& Sally moved to Norway, leaving their grown children in the Casco Bay

area. I realize this is but an educated guess and would greatly appreciate

any clarifying information.
