He m. prob. Plymouth bef. 1626 prob. MARY BUCKETT (or BECKET) who d.
Duxbury Dec. 1676. She has not been identified.
.....George Soule received one acre of land in the 1623 division of land as
did Marie Buckett. She is listed as a passenger on the "Anne."
.....The 22 May 1627 Division of Cattle includes Gaorge Sowle, Mary Sowle
and Zakariah Sowle.
.....George Sowle is in the 1633 list of Freemen.
.....In 1651 Gov. Bradford wrote "But his [Edward Winslow's] man George
Sowle is still living, and hath 8 children."
.....George Soule was in Duxbury as early as 27 Sept. 1642 when he was on
a Duxbury committee.
.....The will of George Soule Sr. of Duxberry dated 11 Aug. 1677, codicil
dated 20 Sept. 1677, inventory 22 Jan. 1679, gave lands in Dartmouth to
sons Nathanial and Gorge; mentions lands in "Middleberry" formerly given
to daus. Elizabeth and Patience; names daus. Susanna and Mary; eldest
son John to have the remainder of his housing and lands. Tha codicil
warned son John that if he disturbed dau. Patienca, then Patience was to
have the house and lands at Duxburrow. The account of John Soule
mentions "since my mother died which was three yeer the last
December."

George, servant to Edward Winslow, came in the Mayflower to
Plymouth. Frm. 1633 : volunteer for the Pequot War in 1637; res. at
Duxbury. Com. of Court, 1640; deputy,1642. His wife Mary and son
Zachariah had shares of cattle with him in 1627. He had 8 children
living in 1650 [B]
He made will 11 Aug. 1677, aged and weak ; prob. 5 March, 1679-80;
sons John, Nathaniel and George. daus. Elizabeth, Patience, Susannah,
Mary.
