CLYDE WESTMORELAND was born August 14, 1916 in Prescott, Arkansas and passed away October 4, 2001 at the age of 85. He was born the youngest child of Albert & Sula Jane Westmoreland. He was preceded in death by his daughter Judith Marie, sister , Evelyn, sister Goldie and brothers Bascom, and Howard. Clyde is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Juanita (Polly) Westmoreland, daughter Sandra Leonard of Tulsa, son Bruce of Manvel, Tx. sister Lena Lind of Austin, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Clyde owned and operated Westmoreland Wood Works in Houston from 1945 to 1989 when he retired due to his health. He was a member of New Heights Baptist Church (formerly West 14th Baptist Church) and belonged to the Reagon Masonic lodge #1037 of Houston. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2001 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday October 8, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home 1317 Heights Blvd. Services to be conducted by Dr Richard Walters and Brother Gus Moser. Juanita Westmoreland, born May 9, 1916 to Oscar and Rosa Brown in Anahuac, Texas, passed away November 1, 2007 in New Braunfels, Texas. Mrs. Westmoreland is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde O. Westmoreland, and sister, Lenora Westmoreland. She is survived by son, Bruce
Westmoreland; daughter Sandra Leonard and husband, Vernon; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson and other family. Mrs. Westmoreland will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service
