Olena and Charles first lived in Pt. Marion, then moved to Pittsburgh. Charles left for Washington State, Olena and child did not follow until about 1946. They lived in Richland, Washington, Portland Oregon, then moved to California. Continued to live around San Jose, Fremont, Calif. was last address. Son Chuck continued to live with his parents, with wife and three children. Olena was very sick her last two years.

She developed bone cancer and died Sept. 9, 1986 just after moving out into a double wide house, She was sick when she moved in, never should have left her home. Was in hospital three days after she moved in. Olena was cremated, also her husband was cremated.Left no will...

Medical Notes: Wife -

Uterine cancer in 1962-3. Stayed very thin through the years, developed bad cough, very painful joints and was sick the entire year of 1986.

General Notes: Husband -

Robert Bonnett and family moved to Morgantown about 1923/ Helen, Betty, and Harold were the only children born in Morgantown, WV. The family lived first in First Ward, then lived on Parson St. in Woodburn area. This is where I , Betty, remember first. I can't recall who lived at home at this time, Ruby, Bud, Harold, Helen and Myself. I think from First Ward, we moved to Evansdale in an apartment, right by Sanders Floorcovering (today). We moved from there to Beechwood Park. I went to Woodburn grade school, then to Morgantown Jr., High . I started to Morgantown High, and we moved to the Grafton Rd, the old MeBee farm at Browns Chapel. In the middle of my Junior year, we moved from the farm to Arthurdale, A-4. Pictures of these homes are in my albums. Brooks, the oldest, divorced, and moved in with us. I graduated from Arthurdale High school in 1949, the only child to graduate from high school. Mother died March 15, 1950. I was married May, 1949, and lived at home, taking care of my mother. That summer we acquired a small trailer, and moved to Bridgeport, WV. My dad went to live with my brother Claude in Arthurdale, M road. Later he moved to Morgantown and stayed with my brother Bud. Robert Bonnett worked as a painter /carpenter until about 1951. Worked only in the summer time. I believe he worked at an old tin mill in Sabraton when they first moved to Morgantown.

Brooks married second, Argyle married three times, Arnett three times, Oral married twice, Ruby married twice, Helen and Harold twice, Leo twice.

Medical Notes: Husband -

Mine accident in early forties, broken ribs, nothing serious.No health proplems until mid-sixties.

My mother, Iva Dell Workman Bonnett is buried at Arthurdale, WV. beside my father Robert Jackson Bonnett. Parents came to Morgantown about the 1920, all the children were born in Lewis Co, with the exception of Helen Viola, Harold Maxwell and Betty Jo. They were all born in Morgantown, WV.

My mother's mother was born in Wyoming Co,, southern WV,My mother's grandmother was named Carolina Johnson. Her grandfather's name was Lenox Clark. I have no data on these two grandparents. My grandmother, Artimisha Clark, lived in Roanoke, WV and my mother was born in Lewis Co,, Orlando, Vol. 3 page 88 in the weston court house is the marriage data of Artimisha Clark and William Henry Workman. Artimisha , my grandmother was born Oct. 30, 1855, died March 21, 1941. Her marriage to william Henry workman was March 18, 1880. On the books at Weston Ct. House, it reads, "D b 1 vees , witness was father of the female,present and consenting. I do not know what these letters mean, When I met aunt Hadyee and aunt Goldie in the mid 70's, they told me there had been fifteen children in the family of Artimisha and William Workman. Death of Robert Oral Bonnett may have been Dec. 24, 1987. He was found by his neice on Jan 3, 1988, Paper in his hand had been dated for Dec. 2 4, 1987. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW11, in the air force. Served as a sargent with the 49th fighter division of the Jolly Roger bomber squadron.

Entered air force Oct. 4, 1942. DS Disttached Service. Discharged Oct. 1945. Three bronze stars for combat, rank of buck sargent. Stationed in Manila, Clark field, Mindenow, Oro bay, Biak Bay La, New Guina and Oknawaa. Dolly married second to Harry Burkett. One son by this marriage.

Body was cremated, interned at the Arthurdale Cemetary, Preston Co, WV.

Thomas L. Bonynge, 80, of Aledo, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003 at Mercer Co Nursing Home in Aledo.
Services were 11:30 A.M., Tuesday, Dec. 23 at the College Avenue Presbyterian Church in Aledo. Burial was in the Aledo Cemetery where graveside Military Services was conducted by the Mercer County VFW Post #1571. Visitation was 10 A.M., Tuesday until the time of the service at the church where memorials may be left to the church or Mercer County VFW Post #1571. Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo is in charge of the arrangements.
Tom was born Apr 27, 1923 in Aledo, a son of Albert and Frances Sproston Bonynge. He graduated from Aledo High School and married Nancy Johnson Oct. 16, 1943 in Alexandria, VA.
He was a US Navy Veteran.
Tom farmed for many years and was a salesman for Moorman Feed and later for ASGROW Seed Co., retiring in 2000.
He was a member of Mercer County VFW Post #1571 where he was Chaplin for over 20 years, the College Avenue Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Fallerans Post #121 in Aledo.
Tom served as Mercer County Township Supervisor for several years and was active in the American Red Cross Blood Drive.
He enjoyed boating, fishing, and golfing.
Survivors include his wife: Nancy; Two daughters and sons-in-law: Susie and Bob Watson of Bloomington, Beth and Mike Bowns of Heyworth; one son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Shirley Bonynge of Aledo, seven grandchildren,and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.
