Dr. H. D. Norris 81, who had been a doctor in Marion since1903, died Sunday at 6:45 A.M. in the Marion Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 3 P.M. at the First Methodist church in Marion. The pastor, Rev. Carl E. Hearn, will officiate, and burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
The body lies in state at the Wilson-Frick funeral home in Marion and will be taken to the church two hours prior to the funeral

DEATH: Winfield Courier, Winfield, KS Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1999 Jennifer Norris CAMBRIDGE - Jennifer Nicole Norris, 20, of rural Cambridge, died Sept. 2 7, 1999, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus, Wichita, of injuries sustained in a car accident 15 miles south of Junction City. Norris, who was returning to KS State University at the time of the accident, was taken to Geary Co Community Hospital and was later transported to Wichita by Medi-Vac plane. She was to marry Chad David Giles Dec. 23 at the Dexter Baptist Church and had spent the weekend with her family working on wedding plans. Services will be held at 2 p.m Friday in the old gym at the Dexter school. Burial will be in Cedar Vale Cemetery. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established with Martin Luther Homes of KS, 2120 E. Ninth, Winfield, KS 67156. A memorial scholarship fund has been set up at Commercial Federal Bank for scholarships in music, writing or social work at Cowley Co Community College or KS State University. Norris was born Aug. 2, 1979, in Arkansas City to Randy and Lynn Norris. She attended schools in Riverside, Calif., Dexter and Goldsboro, NC, before attending Winfield High School her freshman year and graduating from Dexter High School in 1996. She graduated from Cowley Co Community College in 1998 and was currently majoring in social work at K-State. She resided at Clovia 4-H House. Norris was putting herself through college by working as an in-home family support worker for her nephew, Brandon Powell. She also worked as a waitress at Sirloin Stockade in Arkansas City and Manhattan. Survivors include her parents, Randy and Lynn Norris, and a brother, Micah, all of Cambridge; two sisters, Kara Norris, Cambridge, and Amber Norris Weber, United States Navy; her grandparents, Iola Pettigrew, Dexter, and Bob and Donis Norris, South Haven; and her fiance', Chad David Giles, Wichita

Spencer resident and Warren County native Anna Frances Rogers Northcutt, 75, died Aug. 25 at Cookeville General Hospital after an eight-month illness.

A supervisor and assistant plant manager at USA Enterprise and a member of Spencer First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Willie D. and Ethel Baker Rogers; and was preceded in death by her husband, Clenzy Northcutt and brother-in-law, Buddy Sutton.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Polia and Eugene Davis of Spencer; granddaughter and her spouse, Shana and Chris Smith of Spencer; great-granddaughter, Jenna Smith of Spencer; brother and sister-in-law, Willie Joe and Ruth Rogers of Spencer; sister, Yvona Sutton of Spencer; sister-in-law, Leatha Dixon of McMinnville and Thelma Northcutt of Spencer; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clenord and Annie Northcutt of Colorado; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home Spencer Chapel with Jim McCord and Lofton Graves officiating. Burial will follow at Town Cemetery. Visitation began Thursday at the Spencer Chapel.

RICHARD DICK NORTHCUTT Richard (Dick) Northcutt of Chamblee died peacefully at Portsbridge Hospice in Dunwoody Thursday, April 29, 2004. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 4th at 1PM at Oglethorpe Hill with Reverend Steve Mathis officiating. Dick retired from General Motors with 34 years of service. He was an avid clock collector for many years. Dick also had a love for model airplanes which kept him busy building, flying, and searching for planes lost. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald, Palatka, FL and his parents, Claudia and Sam Northcutt, Toccoa. He is survived by his wife, Isabelle; sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Cindy, Pleasanton, CA, Wayne and Karen, Knoxville, TN, Gary and Theresa, Berkeley Lake, GA; grandsons, Chris, Patrick, Matthew, Jason, Joshua, Shaun and Alex; granddaughter, Rachel, great granddaughter, Kayla; sisters, Eloise Davis, Toccoa, GA, Nancy Brown, Canon, GA; brother, Sam (Awtry) Northcutt, Titusville, FL; and many nieces and nephews. Dick was loved by all and will be greatly missed. General Notes: Wife -

Funeral for Rennie Agnes Wilson, 94, Lawton, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Chapel with Rodger Schwenn officiating. Mrs. Wilson died Sunday, June 8, 2003, in Lawton. Burial will be at Flower Mound Cemetery. She was born Dec. 17, 1908, in Rush Springs to Walter C. and Navy Etta Wright Norton. She attended Beaver Bend School east of Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School in 1928. She attended Hill's Business College for two years. She married Clarence Wilson on June 21, 1931, at Walters. He died June 18, 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of Sullivan Village Church of Christ. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Eldon and Kathy Wilson, Lawton; two daughters and a son-in-law: Zelma and Don Vaughan, Fletcher; and Agnes LouRue Crawford, Lawton; a sister and brother-in-law, Reba and Ducky Dunham, Lawton; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Finley Norton and Curtis Norton; and two sisters: Tressie Boyce and Mary Alice Norton.
