<b>Goldie Gustavia Osborn </b> Mrs. Goldie Gustavia (McCray) Osborn, 75, of 1158 US Highway 33W, Weston, died at 12:23 a.m., on Saturday, January 7, 2006, in Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital of Weston following an extended illness. She was born in Lewis County on March 15, 1930, daughter of the late Robert Floyd McCray and Audra (Thompson) McCray. On September 9, 1990, so married Harley Gerald Osborn, her loving husband, who survives. Also surviving are one sister, Laura Katherine (McCray) Byrd of Weston, several nieces and nephews, and two special nieces, Kathy Ruppert and Elaine (McCray) Daughtery, and one special nephew, Randy McCray. She is also survived by a special friend Wanda McHenry, special caregivers, and her loving dog, Cindy. Mrs. Osborn was a homemaker. She was a member of the Waldeck United Methodist Church of Weston. Mrs. Osborn was cremated and a memorial service will be held at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home of Weston on Saturday, January 14, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Russell Furr officiating

Betty Ann Reeder The funeral for Betty Ann Reeder will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Litwiller - Simonsen Chapel, Ashland Paster Leo Wine of FaithTabernacle, Ashland, will officiate. Private interment will beat the Mountian View Cemetery, Ashland. Mrs Reeder, 83, of White City, died Sunday (Jan. 8 1989) at Providence Hospital, Medford. She was born July 5, 1905 at Flat River, Mo. On July 2, 1936, in Long Beach, California, she married Jimmie L. Reeder, who survives. They lived in Montana and Idaho before moving to Ashland 37 years ago, leaving for five to live in Quartz Hill,CA, then returning to Ashland five years ago. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three sons, Kenneth R. Reeder and Timothy R. Reeder, both White City, and Lyle Swinford Jr., Englewood, Calif.; six daughters, Betty Goucher,Butte Falls, Pat Lawson, Central point, Jackie Downes, Talent, Fee Randolph, Quartz Hill, Calif., Winnie Hughes, Lancaster,Calif.,and La Verne Pemberton, Palmdale, Calif., a sister Octie Page, Silver City, N.M., and 28 grandchildren.

Jim Reeder ran his own Logging business. He designed the first Self Loading Logging Truck while in Southern OR. His business extended up and down the West Coast and also into Canada where he was very sucessfull. He was an excellent business person and respected by all that knew him. He made his home in Ashland, OR where he raised his family. During his early years of logging he would receive calls to take his Self Loading Logging Truck up on the Dead Indian Road to pick up logs that were lost by other truck drivers on their way down.
