ntblntbl The Edmonson County native was a son of the late Henry Vincent and Vesta White Vincent.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield, with burial in Dit-Vincent Cemetery in Brownsville. Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today and is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Wooldridge-Vincent; and several nieces and nephews

Ella Iola Carroll Comingdeer, 92, of Perry, Okla., died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at Drumright Nursing Home in Drumright, Okla. She was born Jan. 15, 1915, in Koshkonong, Mo., to Everett Lingle and Eva Lingle.
She was a homemaker and a member of Northside United Pentecostal Church in Ft. Smith, Ark.
She was Comingdeer preceded in death by two sisters, Willie Erickson and Lucille Kelly Cramer; and two brothers, Buck Lingle and Jimmy Lingle.
Survivors include four sons and three daughtersin-law, Bob Carroll, and Billy Carroll and Karla Carroll all of Drumright, Jim Carroll and Christine Carroll of Goodlettsville, Tenn., and Jerry Carroll and Betty Carroll of Pittsburg, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis Rice and George Rice of Perry, and Donna Garrett and Samuel Garrett of Fort Smith; a sister, Nina Quick of West Siloam Springs, Okla.; and numerous grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 p. m. to 4 p. m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark.
Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Monday, Oct. 29, at Wasson Memorial Chapel with B. J. Thomas.
Burial will be at the Bell Cemetery in Adair County, Okla.
Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home, 441 Hwy. 412 W., Siloam Springs, Ark.

THE LIFE STORY OF ANNA SHEETS LINN

Anna Sheets Linn, daughter of Frank and Harriett (Hurst) Sheets, was born Nov. 2, 1879 near Keosauqua and passed away at the Davis Nursing Home in Keosauqua on Aug. 7, 1960 at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 5 days. She had been in ill health for some time and a patient at the Nursing home for four months.

She had spent all of her life in the Keosauqua and Mt. Sterling communities, where she likewise had her early schooling. She was a member of the Mt. Sterling Methodist church, which she attended faithfully as long as her health permitted.

On October 11, 1899, she was united in marriage to Herman Linn near Keosauqua. To this union was born a daughter who died in infancy. They farmed in Van Buren county until retirement in Mt. Sterling 14 years ago.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Henry Sheets of Mt. Sterling and Elzie Sheets of Milton; two sisters, Ruie Eberhardt of Spokane, Wash. and Etta (should be Emily)who died in infancy; her infant daughter, and her husband who died in March 1958.

Surviving are two brothers, Charles Sheets of Keosauqua and Harlan Sheets of St. Joseph, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Wayne Myers of Albany, Ore.; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Funeral services were held at the Mt. Sterling Methodist church on Tuesday, Aug. 9, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Harold Harryman of Milton officiating. Interment was in Harness Cemetery in Mt. Sterlng.
