REGINALD PAUL LEE, born March 4, 1934 passed away December 14, 2005. Native Houstonian is preceded by son Bernard Thomas Lee, parents Joe Lee and Lois Westmoreland Lee, sister Lois Jeanelle and her husband Jay Fulbright Swanson. Survived by brother Douglas Jordan Lee, sister Dixie Jean Roper, her husband and good friend Thomas Roper. Nieces Karen Dinkins, Kimberlee and husband Edward Villella, Lisa Hammonds and son Ian Christopher. Nephews Lee Gilbert Swanson, wife Dawn and son Miles, and Jay Fulbright Swanson. Reginald owned and operated four beauty salons, R. Lee Coiffures, from 1960-1970. He began full time doing what he always enjoyed, Interior Design until his passing. Saying many times that he had not worked since 1970, being in the design field. With exception his clients became friends. Cremation at his request and no offerings other than help a stranger who may cross your path on our journey home. A private Celebration of Life reception in his honor was held on Saturday, December 17, 2005.

General Notes: Husband -

The first thing that comes to mind is about Daddy playing baseball with br other Buddy and me. I know he must have been tired after working all day but he did it any way. He liked to throw his knuckle ball and watch us try to catch it. Most of the time it either got by us or hit us in the chest as it moved around quit a bit.
When I was eight or nine years old, he would wake me up on Saturday morning at 6:00 AM as he took Mother to work and I would go in the kitchen and make scrambled egg sandwiches for us to take into the country to the chicken fights. By 6:30 he was back and had loaded the roosters in the back and off we'd go. Down gravel roads where one had to stop when another car was coming your way and after a while it would open up into a wide area with 100's of trucks full of roosters. We had arrived at our destination for the day. When the fights began, Daddy would tell me to go sit on the hay bales and wait until he motioned for me to come get the rooster he just won or lost with and take it back to the car. By 2:00 PM we were loaded up and headed to Elizabethton to pick up Mother at 3:00. We were late a couple times and he lost that fight. Sometimes he would double his weekly paycheck of $75.00
The main thing for me, I was doing something with Daddy. I do a lot of the same things he did when it comes to helping around the house and helping others and I find the same characteristics in my son Jason. WOODLAND, UT--Vinal R. "Dick" Lefler, age 90, died June 15, 1999 at his residence.

He was born on April 28, 1909 in Woodland, Utah the son of John Wesley and Emily Ann (White) Lefler. He married Erma Rose Sessions on Oct 23, 1930. She died on Aug. 21, 1980. He married Eva Gines on Oct. 24, 1980.

He retired from his occupation as an electrical contractor in San Francisco, California in 1972 and moved to the old family homestead in Woodland, Utah. He was an active member of the LDS Church having served as bishop in two wards. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Eva, of Woodland, UT; son, Roger Thomas (Joan) Lefler, San Rafael, CA; daughters, Caroline Janet (Drew) Laudie, House Springs, MO; daughter-in-law, Marilynn Boggess, Sandy, UT; sister, Twila Crandall, Peoa, UT; niece, Ella Mae (Bill) Irby, Park City, IL; stepchildren, Gary E. (Joleen) Gines, Clark (Celia) Gines, Sharon (Russell) Berg, Jolean (William) Terry, Janean Hall; 21 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren also 30 step grandchildren and 56 great step grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son Richard Norman Lefler, five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 18, 1999 at 11 a.m. in the Woodland LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home in Kamas, Utah.

On February 29, 2004 our dear dad, grandpa, husband, brother and friend, Dean Neil Leftwich, 66, passed away at his home in Lindon, Utah with Connie by his side.
He was born February 18, 1938 in Tacoma, WA to Leonard and Opal Haws Leftwich. He grew up in Utah and achieved many things during his life including serving in the armed forces. Dean was a very talented person with many interests. He was a genuinely giving person and a wonderful friend to all who knew him. He will be truly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Leftwich; daughter, Deena (Dean) Lab; her mother, Patti Olson; three grandchildren: Chelsi, Tyson and Kasey Bills; four stepchildren: Lisa Woolsey, Lewis, Jason and James Ivy; four brothers: Jack (Linda) Leftwich, Mark Leftwich, Laverne (Nancy) Leftwich, Robert (Anne) Leftwich; a sister, Charlotte (David) Caley; and many much-loved nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister and her husband, Bonnie and Kayle Brereton.
A memorial service will be held at the Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 S. 300 E. Pleasant Grove, UT at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 6, 2004. Property on Bolender Pontius Road in Pickaway Co. was deeded from Jo hn A. Leist to Reuben Leist and later to William H. Leist. It is located in Range 21, Twp. 11, Sec. 10, and consisted of 134 acres. It was on this farm that Reuben & Mary Ann lived for some time. The home there is identical to the home of Jeremiah & Caroline Sitler Stout located on U.S. Route 22 (Lancaster Pike). in 1870, the property was worth $13,000. Had a brother named William H.

General Notes: Wife -

Her name appears everywhere it seems. She must have been quite the travel er. She is mentioned as having attended funerals of numerous other Stout family members, even in states other than OH where she lived. She is remembered as having smoked a corncob pipe and as having carried her tobacco in a black lace pouch. There are numerous post cards still in existence to and from Mrs. Leist and various other members of the family. Her correspondence has aided in putting together this family history.
