She attended grade school at Sepulveda Kindergarten, Cohasset School and Torrance Elementary School. She graduated from Torrance High School and was Editor of the High School Newspaper. She then spent two years at Pacific University, in Forest Grove, Oregon. She worked for the phone company, was a librarian, editor of the Orcutt Orbiteer Newspaper
She authored "Kept in Remembrance" a history of St. Agnes Church in 1975. She lived and died in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She will always be remembered for valiantly fighting cancer for four years against many odds. St. Agnes has named their social area in her honor.

Roy W. Sexton, 83, of Lapeer (formerly of Waterford and Pontiac), died Tuesday, May 10, 2005.
He was born Aug. 21,1921 in Pitcher, Okla., to William and Nora (Hill) Sexton.He married Barbara Katus.
He retired fromGeneral Motors. He was an electrician at Fisher Body for 30 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sexton; children, Royzelle Heverly, Judy (Bob) Gorham, Charlotte Sexton and Roy Sexton Jr.; stepchildren, Wayne Clark and JoAnne Wellman; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nora Sexton.
A private memorial service will take place.

Ogden Standard May 7, 2006 Arlin Kay Arlin Kay Arlin John Kay of Brigham City, our beloved husband, father and brother, passed away suddenly on May 4, 2005 of heart failure. Son of Calvin and Lacy Westmoreland Kay, he was born September 12, 1939 in Tremonton, UT. He married Linda Jane Slaugh, March 13, 1964 in Austin, NV. Survivors: wife, Linda; sons, Robert (Debbie) Kay, Roy; Brent (Judy Whitaker) Kay, Tremonton; daughter, Christine Jane, Brigham City. He is also survived by his sister, Ardella Memmott, Garland; brothers, Stacy (Joann Tubbs) Kay, Ogden; Bennie Lee (Betty Tingey) Kay, Brigham City. Grandchildren: David Jacobs, Joshua Rudd, Kerri Avery, and Laura Kay. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elnora Baugh. General Notes: Husband -

Calvin farmed, ran a dairy, drove a school bus, and was a tinkerer. (He could fix almost anything, and rigged up a machine to twist the rags for Aunt Lacy to weave into rugs.

General Notes: Wife -

Lacy died of stomach cancer. She lost weight before realizing she was sick, and was visiting S.C. and bragged about getting her "sweet 16" figure. When she went back home and had a check-up they removed the stomach and pulled up the colon to make a substitute. She felt no pain (even from the operation because the nerve registering pain had been destroyed by the cancer. Will filed for probate, but was listed as survivor in her father's obituary.

Garland, UT - Eunice Verl Kay Summers, 96, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2007. She was born February 18, 1911 in Tremonton, UT to John Thomas and Rosetta Haws Kay. She married Clifford John Summers February 21, 1939 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died July 9, 1986.
She was educated in Tremonton and attended Bear Rive High School. She helped her husband in his electrical business and operated a produce garden. She loved to draw, crochet and her grandchildren.
She was a member of Garland 4th Ward previously serving as a Relief Society Visiting teacher.
Surviving are her children: Lynda (David) Thursted, Howell, UT, Thomas V. Summers, Salt Lake City, UT and Gary Summers, Garland, UT; 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren; six step grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Rose, two brothers and nine sisters.
A funeral service will be held Friday, May 4, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Garland 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 175 South Main, Garland. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and from 12:30 - 1:40 p.m. Friday at the church. Interment at Bothwell Valley View Cemetery
