Beersheba Springs resident and Grundy County native Mary F. Nunley, 75, died May 1 at her home after an extended illness.

A homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Parker and Lottie Mae Measles Baker; and was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Nunley in 1998.

She is survived by sons, Preston P. Nunley of Omaha, Neb., Russell Nunley of Beersheba Springs and Bruce Nunley of Viola; grandchildren, Kimberly Nevmann and Patrick Nunley, both of Omaha, Amy King and Brandy Nunley, both of Beersheba Springs, Layra Layne of Gruetli and Abby Nunley of McMinnville; and brother, A.P. Baker of Spencer; several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Tuesday at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home Chapel with Ed Douglas officiating. Burial followed at Walker Cemetery.

Mr. John Leland (Buster) Bouldin, age 84, of Spencer Tn; passed from this life July 16, 2007 at NHC Health care of McMinnville, TN. of an extended illness. Mr. Bouldin was born on August 13, 1922, in Van Buren TN, a Member of the Church of Christ, and was a surveyor for the State of Tennessee. He served in the U.S. Army as a Pvt in WWII, were he receive the Vicotory Medal and also was a member of the VFW and Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was preceded in death by his parents - Haskel & Massie (Bouldin) Bouldin; wife - Mildred (Baker) Bouldin; Grandsons - Leland Bouldin & Doug Bouldin.
Survivors include a daughter Becky S. & husband Carlos Smith of Spencer Tn; two sons Ronnie G. & wife Bobbie Bouldin of Spencer TN; James H. Bouldin of Spencer TN; grandchildren, John Bouldin II; Crystal Mills and Dana Smith; two great grandchildren Leland Bouldin; & Caden Mills.

Funeral service for Mr. Bouldin will be held at the Spencer Funeral Home of Love-Cantrell-Cope, at 2 P.M. on Wednesday July 18, 2007 with Wayne Sullivan officiating,interment will follow in the Town Cemetery with Military Graveside rites by VFW post 5064 and the American Legion post 17

Family will receive friends Tuesday 5 P.M. to 10 P.M. also Wednesday 8 A.M. to 2 P.M. the time of the service, at Spencer Funeral Home of Love-Cantrell-Cope.

A member of Cumberland Baptist Church, he was the son of the late A.P. and Lottie Baker Sr., and was preceded in death by sisters, Sarah Rehevena Forsyth and Rosetta Craig; and brother, J.R. Baker.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Baker; sons, Charles Fincher of Nashville, Hubert and David Fincher of Beersheba Springs, Jeffery Spain of Beersheba Springs, George Fincher of McMinnville, and Floyd Fincher of Eustis, Fla.; daughters, Doris Jordan of Ft. Payne, Ala., and Carlene Guyear of Monteagle; brother, A.P. Baker Jr. of Spencer; sister, Mary Frances Nunley of Beersheba Springs; 26 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Cumberland Baptist Church in Beersheba Springs with Clyde Leeds and Rev. Alton Scruggs officiating. Burial will follow at Walker Cemetery.
