Uncle Howard ended his life after suffering a long time with emphysema and a recent extended hospital stay with abdominal problems. Uncle Howard and Aunt Joan surprised everyone when they drove to NC to attend Steve and Kelli Hulsey's wedding. The only person who knew their plans was Ange Corben. Uncle Howard also sang at our (Jan & Tom Hulsey) wedding on 6 Jun 1964.

General Notes: Husband -

January 21, 1955 Russell Glenn Schnepp 35, of 811 1/2 Columbia Ave., founder of the Schnepp Lumber Co., of Huntertown, died at 6:12 a.m. yesterday in Parkview Memorial Hospital. Mr. Schnepp had been a patient one and a half days but had been in poor health the past five monts.

He was a vounder and fromer vice-president of the Huntertown Lions Club, a menber of the Huntertown Pioneer Automobile Club and a memeber of the Monroeville Methodist Church.

A native of Van Wert Co., Ohio, Mr. Schnepp attended schools in Van Wert, Ligonier and Fort Wayne, before his graduation from Montoeville Hight School. He serveed two years in the Army with the 38th Division.

Mr. Schnepp founded the lumber company in 1944 and was active in running the business until his death. Surviving are: The widow, Betty Ellett The father, Leonard Schnepp, Fort Wayne Several Nieces and Nephews

Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park.
