Sherry L Y. (June 20, 2008 - January 14, 2008) Sherry L. Y., 50, of Moline, IL, died Monday, January 14, 2008, at Trinity Pathway Hospice in Bettendorf, IA. Sherry L. Fuqua was born on June 20, 1957, to Olin H. and Mildred A. (Pennington) Fuqua in Tucumcari, NM. She taught at Brown Mackie College prior to working at Mid-American Energy as a Personnel Forecaster. She was a long-time member of Eastern Star, and she enjoyed sewing, Christmas, and her Pot-Bellied pigs. Sherry loved to laugh and to make other people laugh. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 19th, at 2:00 p.m. at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at 2:00. Memorials may be made to the James David Westmorland Education Fund. Survivors include: a daughter: Jessica (James) Westmorland of Rock Island, IL; a grandson: James David Westmorland of Rock Island, IL; two brothers: Douglas (Susie) Fuqua, and Larry (Cindi) Fuqua, both of Ruidoso, NM; three nephews; a niece; a great-niece; and her special friend: Robert Keith of Moline

WESTON - Geraldine V. Hinzman, 84, of Weston died Sept. 2, 1999, in Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She was a homemaker, a member and choir member at First Baptist Church and a member of Eastern Star Chapter 40, Weston, Rotary and the Wally Byam Airstream Organization.
Surviving: husband, Ralph B. Hinzman; daughters, Carolyn Ramsay of Leesburg, Va., Doris J. Broscius of Weston; sons, Dean E. and Ralph B. Jr., both of Dover, Del.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Firs Baptist Church, Weston, with the Rev. James Crouch officiating. Burial will be in Weston Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Floyd Funeral Home, Weston, where there will be an Eastern Star service at 7.

William Craig Stowe, 83, of Lula, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007.
A native of Stephens County, he was the son of the late William Edge and Ola Westmoreland Stowe. Mr. Stowe was preceded in death by his wife, Birtie Gaddis Stowe; sons, Johnny Stowe and Robert Stowe; two brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include children, Gail Booth, Maysville, Morris Stowe, Danielsville, Mike Stowe, Nicholson, Lavern Stowe, Gillsville, Richard Stowe, Comer, and Teresa Stowe, Lula; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 14, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Elliott officiating. Burial was in Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Braselton.
Lord & Stephens, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.

General Notes: Husband -

Frank Gale Frank LeRoy Gale, 64, of Redmond and formerly of Salt Lake City and Ogden, Utah, passed away January 8, 2005, from cancer at his home in Redmond surrounded by his family. He was born June 5, 1940, in Ogden, Utah, to Briant LeRoy and Kathryn Dallinga Gale. He married Linda Kay February 28, 1959, in Ogden, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple, April 22, 1964.
Frank worked for Hercules in West Valley City and volunteered as a reserve deputy sheriff. After retiring he moved with his wife to Redmond and worked for the Central Utah Correctional Facility. He worked with his wife in the Manti LDS Temple as Ordinance Workers . Frank dearly loved his children, grandchildren, and foster children.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, Redmond; children, Cindy (John) Martindale, Redmond; Alan (Neesha) Gale, West Jordan; Daniel Frank (Carolyn) Gale, Kearns; Kent (Carmen) Gale, West Valley; Kathryn (Dee) Richens, Redmond; Ron (Sadie) Gale, Magna; Sara Ellen Gale, Redmond; 34 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; mother, Kathryn Gale, Ogden; brothers and sister: Gary (Lana) Gale, Layton; Beverly (Reed) Burkinshaw, Magalia, CA; Randy (Vickie) Gale, Centerfield Preceded in death by father; daughter, Connie Gale; granddaughter, Faith Richens.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 15, 2005, at 12:00 Noon in the Redmond 1st LDS Ward Chapel (310 W. 100 N). Friends may call at the Magleby-Jensen Mortuary (150 N. State, Salina) on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the Ward Chapel in Redmond on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Redmond Cemetery. Funeral directors, Magleby-Jensen Mortuary, Salina and Gunnison.
