I finally retired
to Ocala, Florida, married to Gilbert McManus,
mother of four
children (Neil, Chere, Lynda, and Robin);
grandmother
of eight (Stephanie, Christopher, Michael (deceased),
Pamela, Adam,
Lauren, Ian and Dale); one foster daughter (Lisa
Packer); foster
grandson Cody John Packer and my
two
great-grandchildren, Alan Edward and Christopher Alan-Lee.
In addition to
travel and family, genealogy is my prime hobby with a
major interest
in Rapides and Vernon Parish Louisiana, with
a secondary
interst in other Central Louisiana parishes.
The main surnames
I have been researching are Bass, Groves,
Sellars, O'Bryant,
Tippit, Nash, Parker, Jackson, Williamson,
Calcote, Trammell
and allied familes. On my husband's side
I am searching
for McManus and Kelley.
