' The deceased lady (writes a correspondent) was well and widely known, and a member of a much respected family, who re sided in the district for many years, being daughter of the late Mr. J. H. Huett, of Elizabeth Town, and granddaughter of the late Mr. Atwell, of Deloraine. Tihe greatest sympathy is felt for Mr. Viney, who is left with a large family, including an infant baby, to mourn her loss; also for her widowed mother, sisters, and brothers in their sad bereavement. Examiner, 11 March 1908.

A service will be held at the St James Presbyterian Church, Moresby Ave, Waihi on Friday April 7 2006 at 11 a.m. Resting now with family and other Jag enthusiasts.

Ernie was one of Australia's first Johnson Outboard dealers in 1961. The original premises were below the large family home at Berowra Waters. In 1972 the existing property at 1131 Pacific Highway Cowan was acquired and the sales department was run from here with the service department remaining at Berowra Waters. Since 1983, Huett Marine has been operating entirely from Cowan.3
