!Parker, of Browsholme, in "History of Whalley" at FHL; Barrister, of Gray's
Inn; in 1643 (age 7) he was taken prisoner and carried to the garrison at
Thornton, according to the Browsholme Hall history book; in "Lancashire's Old
Families" it states that Edward was "actually called to ye Barrer" in 1684 and
wrote home from the 'Seven Stars' in London.
