[5802] History of the Lands and Their Owners in Galloway, FHL 941.49 H2m v. 3, p 90-91 states he was given Monybuie in fee from Robert, Viscount Kenmure, his uncle. He disponed the half merk land of Dalquharnochan or Waterhead in 1676 to William Thomson, smith in Birdgend of Moniaive. The land of Nether Munybuie passed by contract of wadset in 1675, from William Gordon to the Reverend Thomas Vernor.
