Book of Mackay, p 259 & 262 - sasine of Eriboll as William McKy in Achoul 4 Nov 1709; he is remembered as a leading layman in the heights of Strathnaver who took a great interest in things religious. P 262 states that they only were able to find out about one of his sons "He m. _______, and had a son [William], of whom follows:" Editors have chosen to place the Nish group of the Durness Scottish Church Record individuals in this family because of names, dates, and location.
