FHL - "The Book of McKee," pg 271 - pedigree from William Skene, D.C.L., LL.D., Historiographer-Royal of Scotland, in "Celtic Scotland," Edinburgh 1890; Fergus became King of Scotland at death of his brother Loarn and reigned for 16 years, beginning 513 - per Kings of Scotland from O'Flaherty's Ogygia, written in 1684, and reprinted in Book of McKee, pg 407
It also states that, according to Irish legend, the three sons of Earc mac Eochaidh Muinreamhar, named Fergus Mor, Loarn, and Aongus, settled in Scotland circa 505 A.D. where they established a colony of the Irish Dal Riada in Argyle.

Book of McKee, pg 404 "Kings of Ireland" from O'Flaherty'e Ogygia which was written in 1684 during the reign of Charles II states Fergus served as king for one year with Domnall his brother (conflict)
