The Book of McKee pg 292; he granted sasine to his "son-in-law" Roderick Murray of the lands of Spanziedale and BigHouse- Murray contracted this marriage to fortify himself and his family in the possession of BigHouse;
Blackcastle Manuscript pg 19 states that he granted the sasine to his "brother-in-law" Roderick Murray.
P 297 gives Sasine in favor of Rory Murray son & heir of Angus Mackay of Spenziedale, upon the Lands of Spenziedale, Bighouse, &c. dated the 5th of November 1511.
Since there is confusion about the relationship of Roderick Murray, Editors have chosen to accept the Blackcastle version.
