"A Guide to Irish Roots," pg II-40; allowed idols into Ireland; introduced colors saffron, blue and green
Book of McKee pg 400 gives his name as Tigermas, from O'Flaherty's Ogygia, and he reigned 23 years; however, editors have adjusted the years because Book of McKee states Herimon's reign began 1005 BC, but he landed in Ireland in 968 BC.
O'Hart's Irish Pedigrees states he was the 13th Monarch, reigned 77 years (or 50 years), fought 27 battles with the followers of the family of Heber Fionn...In his reign gold was mined near Liffey and skilfully worked...This King also made a law that each grade of society should be known by the number of colours in its wearing apparell:--the clothes of a slave should be of one color; those of a soldier of two; the dress of a commanding officer to be of three colours; a gentleman's dress, who kept a table for the free entertainment of strangers, to be of four colours; five colours to be allowed to the nobility (the chiefs); and the King, Queen, and Royal Family, as well as the Druids, historians, and other learned men to wear six colours. (is believed to be the origin of the Scotch plaid). He set up the famous idol called "Crom Cruach" (Literally, the crooked heap) on the plain of Magh Sleaght, now Fenagh, in the barony of Mohill, county of Leitrim. (worship of sun, sun-worship of the Magi or wise men of the East, who, we are told in Scripture, were led to Bethlehem by divine inspiration to see the Infant Jesus.)
"Irish Pedigrees" states that "This King died, B.C. 1543, on the Eve of 1st of November, with two-thirds of the people of Ireland, at Magh Sleaght (or Field of Adoration), in the county of Leitrim, as he was adoring the Sun-God, Crom Cruach (a quo Macroom)."

History of the Lands and Their Owners in Galloway, FHL 941.49 H2m v. 1, p 351 states: "In 1689, Patrick M'Kie was owner of Auchland. On the 26th July 1695, Catherine Lauder, had sasine of ane wood and Milne of Auchland. Who she was we do not trace. She may have been the spouse of Patrick M'Kie, as we learn that he had a son Patrick, who on the 27th July 1699, was served heir to his father in the ten merk land of Auchland, and merk land of Markbreddan. This Patrick M'Kie married Agnes M'Culloch, who had sasine, with her husband, of Auchland, on the 31st October 1699...on the 19th June 1704, Patrick, M'Kie, styled of Auchland, had again sasine of Auchleand and other lands. Patrick M'Kie was succeeded by George M'Kie, who, we presume, was his son."
Scottish Inquisitiones - Wigton Inquisitiones Speciales - Q941 A21 Vol 2 lists: "Patricius M'Crie (vel M'Kie) de Auchleand, Jul 27 1699, haeres Patricii 'Crie (vel M'Kie) de auchleand, patris--Husbandtoune, Wood, Hillis, Auchleand, Markbreddan in Wigtown."
