The Chronicle of the Kings of Man calls him a son of Harald, while the Annals of Tigernach call him a grandson of Harald. In Bartrum's "Early Welsh Genealogical Tracts" ABT 6c is a pedigree that identifies him as the son of Harald, son of Ivar, etc.
