The Wilson cemetery is located on privately-owned land. The current owner is interested in restoring the cemetery.
The cemetery is off of a dirt road that starts next to the homestead on Ledbetter Flat Rd, about a quarter mile from Ledbetter towards the top of the first hill. A pathway to the right leads to the white section surrounded by an original stone wall. The cemetery is small and all readable tombstones transcribed in 2007. The African-American section is on the left without a trail nor boundaries. The entire hillside is a burial ground with hundreds of now-unmarked graves; only broken headstones, stone fragments, and depressions are visible. Family oral history confirms that this is the Wilson cemetery to which many death certificates refer. In 2007 only the tombstones for Maud Pope and Charlie Estelle were clearly visible.
