What I KnowMy Great Grandfather, John Charcholla was born 01/26/1864 in Neidenburg, East Prussia. He married a Mathilda Schroeder (also spelled Schrotter & Schroetter). I only have a note that said his mother was a Skusa, who had a brother named Carl. He & Mathilda left Neidenburg and my Grandmother, Margaret Charcholla was born in Wattensheid, Germany. John, Mathilda & Margaret immigrated to America together and resided in Rochester, New York. Margaret Charcholla married Ernest Arnold From Brugg (Basel) Switzerland after arriving in the US.
