Chaumont, Oct. 17.-Michael Quencer, 67, a life-longresident of this section, died Sunday afternoon at 2 at his 1~rm
home on the Macombs Settlement road, town of Lyme, ashort distance from this village. Mr. Queneer had been in ~ling
health for the past three years.
Mr. Ouencer was horn Nov, 16, 1864, in the town ofOrleans, a son of Michael and Katherine Quencer. Re lived in this
county all his life and married Miss Estey Enders,Mannsville, on Sept. 1, 1904. His wife died March20, 1922, at the home
on the Maconibs Settlement road. Mr. Queneer was amemher of the Evangelical Coneordia Lutheran church, Watertown,
and of the Dexter Grange.
Surviving are two daughters, Katherine and Frieda,who lived at home, and one son, Martin, who also resided at home;
and five l:others, John and Jacob, Watertown, Philipand Conaad of Evans Mills, and Martin of Ogdensl:urg; and one sister,
Miss Mary Quencer, of Watertown.
Funeral services will he held from the residenceWednesday afternoon at 2 with burial in Dexter cemetety.
