This is a photographic copy of a little tintype of my ancestor William PEVA, (1811-1891), youngest son of James PEVA & Rachel SAVAGE.  William was probably born in New Milford (now Alna), Maine, but lived all his adult life in Windsor, Maine, where he was a farmer.  His very stern look probably resulted in part from trying to coax a crop out of that thin, rocky soil.
