Simon F.[8] Peavey, Jr. of New York has three sons: William B. [9] Peavey,
born in 1918, Simon Fillmore [9] Peavey (3rd), born in 1915, and Alfred
C. [9] Peavey, born in 1916.
A third brother to Simon F.[7] Peavey, Sr. and James Farrington [7] Peavey, was George Sylvester [7] Peavey, born in 1850. George [7], who lived in Middleboro, Massachusetts is now deceased, but left a daughter, Edith (Peavey) Ritter, and a son, Frank [8] Peavey. Frank [8] Peavey has a daughter, Hattie (Peavey) Hallet, and sons Leroy [9] Peavey and George [9] Peavey. Frank [8] is said to live in Milford, Massachusetts. You will remember that Simon [5] Peavey of Rochester had a son, Moses Vanes [6] Peavey, born in 1809. Moses married Abigail S. walker in Somersworth in 1841 and died in 1881. They had three children: Aldana [7], born in 1858, Moses V. [7] Peavey, born in 1845 and Sarah, born in 1856 and married Frank Ramsey and died in Augusta, Maine. Aldana [7] Peavey married Sarah A. Hayes at Great Falls, New Hampshire in 1879 and died in 1920 at Dover. He had one son, Moses Aldana [8] Peavey, born in 1881 at Somersworth (T.R.). Moses Aldana [7] Peavey in 1913 married Ella S. Kimball at Rochester and I have Rochester records of a daughter, Marion, born in 1916 and Francis A. [8] Peavey, born in 1918, and drowning at Alton Bay, New Hampshire at the age of three. Also Ronald A. [8] Peavey, born in 1924. Moses V. [6] Peavey, Jr., born in 1845, married Sarah Hanscome at Somersworth in 1863 (G.R.). He had four children: Flora Estelle, born in 1863 and married Edwin L. Blinn of Fall River, Berenice Edell, born in 1870 and married C. A. Pope of Bedford, Herbert Ashton [7] Peavey, born in 1868 (a seaman and traveler) and James Farrington [7] Peavey, born in 1866. James Farrington [7] Peavey was evidently was so named for his father's cousin, James Farrington [7] Peavey, above described. He married S. Agnes Lawrence at Fall River, Massachusetts in 1891.
