Exeter, New Hampshire when married to Abiah Meder of Exeter in 1836, according to the town records. The children were reported by family records to be George Gilman [7] Peavey, born in 1841 and died in 1901, John K. [7] Peavey, born in 1843 and died in 1844, and Albert M. [7] Peavey, born in 1846 and died in 1913.

Family records show George Gilman [7] Peavey to have married Susan Van Vacter in 1865, and to have been born in Troy, New York. The children were George E. [8] Peavey, born in 1874, Frank A.[8] Peavey, born in 1876, and N. Valentine [8] Peavey, born in 1888. These boys are living in New York or Brooklyn, and it is to Frank A. [8] Peavey of New York City that I am indebted for the data on the descendants of Edward H. [5] Peavey. Frank A. [8] Peavey has one daughter, Florence. now Mrs. Henry A. Meyer.

Anthony [5] Peavey, Jr. (Anthony [4] - Thomas [3] - Abel [2] -Edward [1]) is mentioned on the tax lists of Farmington, from 1814 to at least 1828. The town records say he married Sally Knight of Farmington in 1812. In 1848 the settlement papers of his estate mention his wife, Sarah, and Benjamin R. [ ] Peavey, who helped settle it.

Steams, in his Family Histories of New Hampshire says that Anthony [6] Peavey son of the above Anthony [5], was born in Farmington in 1822 and married Lizzie Edgerly. Also that their children were Warren E. [7] Peavey, Isadore E., Selvin d. [7] Peavey, Will L. [7] Peavey, Florence, Ernest E. [7] Peavey, Elvin E. [7] Peavey, and Fannie M. This history further states that Will L. [7] Peavey married Alice Leavitt and that they have a son, Norton L- [8] Peavey, born in 1891. The estate of Anthony [6] is mentioned in the probate records in 1871.
