1806 he is witness on a deed to his father, Anthony's [4] name. In 1809 he married Sarah Pearl of Farmington. In 1816, Oliver
[ ] Peavey of Alton deeds to Paul [5] Peavey, and same year Anthony [4] and Paul [5] deed Oliver [ ] Peavey, and execute a bond to him for his support. Paul [5] is mentioned in a deed in 1822.

Paul [6] Peavey, Jr. was taxed in Farmington, beginning in 1828. In 1857 Paul of Farmington administered the estate of Paul [5] Peavey (probably his father). Harry [8] Peavey of Lynn, Massachusetts, a friend of mine, says his father, Paul Randall [7] Peavey was born in 1834, and his grandfather, Paul [6], in 1806, and that the family came from Farmington. This seems to fix Paul's [6] birth in 1806.

In 1810 Edward H. [5] Peavey was taxed in Farmington, and from then on to 1826. In 1815 he was called "Ensign", and from 1820 on - "Captain". He taught school in Farmington for several years. In 1814 Edward H. [5] Peavey (probably the same man) was married to Mary Pray of Farmington, and his descendants say he was born in 1788. He was a minister, and Farmington records say he was the minister who married Jonathon [ ] Peavey and Mehitable Pierce of that town in 1831. His son, George Whitefield [6] Peavey, was born in 1815 and died in 1893, according to family records. Edward H. [5] married Emeline Jewell of Stratham in 1834, and by this second wife he had a son Edward L. [6] Peavey. Both Edward L. [6] and Edward H. [S] died in what is now Newfields, New Hampshire. In 1856 Edward H. [5] made his will. Was Edward H. [5] a son of Col. Anthony [4], who mentions a son Edward [5], in his will?
