Concord archives show Mehitable in 1751 to have been in a land transaction and refer to her as daughter of widow Sarah Peavey. In 1753 she was on a list of South Church members. South Church records in 1761 shows her to have married Samuel Dalling. Portsmouth First Church records show Mehitable to have been received into covenant and baptized in 1721. If she was born in 1721, as above noted, this was an infant baptism, but it may have been and older person.

The South Church records say that a Mary Peavey in 1728 was received into the covenant and was baptized. The same records show Sarah Peavey to have owned the covenant in 1735. A Sarah Peavey was married to Stacy Calling at Greenland in 1736 (G.R.). This was probably William's [2] daughter. In 1757 the South Church records say Elizabeth Peavey was married to Benjamin Seaward (Sayward, see above).

In 1722 Concord archives say that a John [ ] Peavey of Portsmouth was drowned. Possibly this was another son of Edward. At all events, John [4] Peavey, son of John [3], (William [2] - Edward [1]) was baptized, according to the South Church records, in 1749. Doubtless he was a grandson of William [2], and son of John [3] mentioned in the above land settlement with the sisters. 1754 again shows the birth of Sarah, daughter of John [3], according to the South Church
records, and in 1757, Samuel [4], son of John [3] was baptized into the South Church. 1780 records the baptism of Nathanael [4], son of John [3] into the same fold. Who John Peavey was, who in 1761 married Elizabeth Smith (South Church records), I do not know.

In 1765 and again in 1768 John is on a list of petitioners to the town of Portsmouth for various causes. (Town Records). In 1771 Concord archives say John and his wife, Dorcas, deeded land to Elizabeth P.
