Recent Y-DNA testing verifies link to RÜHRSCHNECK cousin in Germany!!
A 37 marker match has been found between John Stuart Rasnick, American descendant of Jacob Rasnick, and Christian Rührschneck in Germany.
Areas matched exactly in 36 of the 37 markers tested. This means that there is a 99% likelihood they share a common ancestor in a genealogical time frame. Further testing is currently underway to include a member of the American Ruehrschneck family, and to determine the most recent common ancestor for all.
