James was born about 1837 and died before 1880. He married
Mary Stinson Mar 6, 1858 Whitley County, Kentucky.
Mary was born Feb 15, 1831 and died May 6, 1908. They had
seven children.
I. Perry was born Nov 20, 1856 and died
Dec 20, 1856.
II.
Nancy
was born Nov 10, 1857.
III. Melinda was born Apr 1860.
IV. Lewis was born Feb 25, 1862 and died May 20,
1934. He married Julia Monhollan. Julia was born about 1862 and died Oct 17, 1936.
V.
Eliza was born July 4, 1865.
VI.
Riley
was born July 4, 1867.
VII.
Elizabeth
was born Oct 3, 1869.
There possibly could have been another child. I found in the Whitley County Deaths a Pary Stinson died Dec 20, 1856 son of James Perkins and Mary Stinson. But in the 1860 census there is a son Perry living with them. So I don't know if there were twins and they named them Pary and Perry or if they just gave the dead son's name when the census taker came around.
