1905. They are buried at Austin Cemetery, Barren County,

1910 Marcus is living in the Insane Asylum, Christian County, Kentucky
On Jul. 2, 1905, Arabelle died tragically by a blow struck by Marcus
during a fit of insanity. They were on their way to the milk barn when
Marcus struck the unsuspecting Arabelle on the head with a two-by-four.
Arabelle lingered on her deathbed for a few days before succumbing to
the fatal blow.
Before the sheriff could be notified, their son George spirited Marcus
away to the Insane Asylum at Hopkinsville for a psychiatric evaluation.
