George was born Mar 18, 1858 and died Feb 2, 1931 Barren County, Kentucky.  He married Hattie Steenbergen.  Hattie was born July 7, 1867 Barren County, Kentucky and died Jan 20, 1932 Jefferson County, Kentucky.  They are buried at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery, Barren County, Kentucky.  They had seven children.
I.        Sarah was born Dec 2, 1890.
II.      Florence was born Jan 22, 1893.
III.     Nell was born Feb 1, 1895.
IV.     Judson was born Feb 13, 1897 and died Oct 19, 1962.  He married a Hallie.  She was born Sept 22, 1899 and died Feb 8, 1990.  They are buried at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery, Barren County, Kentucky.
V.      Richard was born Mar 23, 1899 and died Jan 31, 1970.  He married a Mabel.  She was born Apr 22, 1897 and died May 13, 1980.  They are buried at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery, Barren County, Kentucky.
VI      Clara was born about 1907.
VII.    George was born about 1909.

Mr. George W. Drane of the Haywood country, died Monday, at the age of 78 years of cancer.
"He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Hattie Steenbergen, and seven seven [sic] children: Messrs. Richard Drane of Detroit, Judson Drane near Glasgow, George Drane, Jr., and Mrs. Warner Settle of Haywood, Mrs. James Williams of Louisville, Mrs. Ebley Peden and Mrs. Rice Reid of near Oil City.

"Mr. Drane was a life long citizen of the Haywood section, a member of the Methodist church, and one of the best citizens of the county. Nothing too good could be said of him as a neighbor and friend.
"He leaves one brother and one sister, Mr. E. N. Drane of Glasgow and Mrs. Dick Allen of Smiths Grove.
"Mr. Drane had a lingering illness, which he bore with Christian fortitude.
"Burial was in the Glasgow Cemetery, Tuesday afternoon, after brief funeral services by Rev. T. L. Hulse of the Methodist Church."

"Mrs. George Drane Dies in Louisville. Mrs. Geo. Drane, formerly of the Haywood section, died in Louisville, Tuesday night, following an operaton. Before her marriage she was Miss Hattie Steenbergen, and is survived by the following children, Mrs. Tamp Williams and Mr. Pete Drane of Louisville, Mrs. Ebley Peden, Mrs. Rice Read, Mrs. Warner Settles, Mr. Judson Drane, all of this county, Mr. Richard Drane of Detroit. Her brothers and sisters were Miss Tallie Steenbergen, Messrs. Dick Steenbergen, Theo. Steenbergen, Tevie Steenbergen of Washington state, Smith Steenbergen and Lee Steenbergen of California, Willie Steenbergen of the Hawaiian Islands. Mrs. Drane was reared in the southern part of the county, and lived at Haywood for many years. Following the death of her husband last February, she has made her home with Mrs. Williams in Louisville. She was a member of the Baptist Church and was loved by all who had the privilege of her acquaintance. The remains were brought to the home of Mr. Judson Drane, who lives at the old home place, where funeral will be held today and burial will be in the Glasgow cemetery."
