In the name of God Amen
Mara Gramling of Sullivan County State of Missouri of sound and disposing mind and in my usual health, although weak in body and not long expecting to live desirious of disposing of the state with which God has blessed me according to my will do hereby declare and publish this as my last will and Testament.
In the first-please ? my body to the dust and my sole to God and my wish is that after my death my body shall be buried in a decent Christian ? ? I dispose of worldy goods as follows. My jsut debts are to be paid first out of my personal property or estate if shall be sufficient for that purposes. I have five children living: Reuben Gramling, Henry Gramling, John Gramling, Rebecca Compton, Elizabeth Gramling, and my will and wish is that my daughter Elizabeth Gramling shall have at my death shall have my mare and her increase and five head of sheep and their increase and our hog and increase and our bed and bed clothing, all household and kitchen furniture for my daughter Elizabeth to do as she sees fit after my death. I (nominate) and appoint Samuel Maggart as the executor of this my last will and Testament in Testimony whereof I hereunto subscribe my name this fifteenth day of February one thousand eight-hundred and seventy three declared and published by Saml Magart as her last will and testament.
