Communion Picture
These are my children GAETANA and BALDASSARE |
My four girls. They are
reading from left to right JOSEPHINE, MARY, IDA and MARGARET |
My wife and our youngest
child, SEBASTIAN. This picture was taken in front of our
home. (Note that this child is listed as BENJAMIN
on 1920 Census and SEBASTIAN was his paternal grandfather's name) |
My wife and
myself (MARIANNA "MARIAN" ARMATO and FRANCESCO
"FRANK" SPARACINO). This
was taken at my daughter IDA's house in Jamaica. (NY?)

| My son JOHN
SPARACINO. (Note that JOHN's middle name was
BALDASSARE and listed as John B. on some records. BALDASSARE was
his maternal grandfather's name. Family stories relate that he
played with the Guy Lombardo Band and was a violin virtuoso) |
My oldest daughter, LOUISE and
three of her children. |
written in Italian
This is my daughter CALOGERA and spouse. |

These pictures were sent by SPARACINO relatives of
Brooklyn, NY to my grandmother, MARIA SPARACINO GIAMETTA, in
Louisiana. All but the last two on the second row were sent by
Maria's brother, FRANCESCO SPARACINO. They are pictures of his family
and he has identified each person on the back of each picture. Records
do not confirm that LOUISE and CALOGERA ( in the last two pictures) were
his children. They are believed to be other members of the SPARACINO
family, most likely cousins. Communication was lost with
the NY relatives, after my grandfather's death as there was no one in
the household who could read or write. I am very anxious to
communicate with anyone who may recognize these pictures.
