Giuseppina DiGiovanna Bonsignore (b. 1865) and Antonina DiGiovanna
Modica (b. about 187?). Both from Menfi, Sicily. They are two
sisters of my great grandfather. It must have been taken c. 1900
even, if not before. |

This
is Rosa DiGiovanna DiGiorlando. Most likely taken in Menfi, Sicily
before 1900 as she was born in 1868 (how old does she look?). She
is the sister of my great grandfather. |

grandparents Gaspar "Cappie" DiGiovanna and Mary Giovinco on
the roof of their building in BKLYN on Hart St. This was taken on the
day they were engaged in May 1941. |

is my great-grandfather, Luigi DiGiovanna (right) Grocery store,
"Regina Grocery" at 159 Wilson Ave. in Bushwick. Two of his
children are to his right, unknown women, and all the way to the left is
Calogero DiGiovanna, my great-grandfather's brother. The other sons I
believe are Calogero's. It was taken c. 1925 |

Lastly, me (over to the left) at a Knapp family reunion this July. It
was held at John Wheeler Knapp Beach (my great Uncle who gave it to the
town). And it was great. If I have any recommendation for a place to
hold a reunion ... its at the beach.
