Rosa
BUSCHIER, Annabella BASSE and Stephen Hicks BASSE
This is the father to the
childrens pictures I have sent you so far. His name was Stephen
Hicks BASSE born in Virginia, 20 December
1806. He was my g.g.g grandpa. Behind him is his sister
Annabella Basse born 4 February 1814 in
Virginia. Stephen was the oldest child Annabella was the 6th, out
of 12 children. Both died in Tennessee. With
them to the left is their cousin Rosa Buschier, that we now know was
really Buscemi.

Narcissa
BASSE
This is Eleanor Louisa's
younger sister Narcissa, born around 1849 in Tennessee. She was
number 6 out of 12
children. She was
around 13 in this photo. |
These are some
of Eleanor Louisa's brother's. The oldest is John
M. Basse (age 16). On the left is Ashley
Basse (age 10) and the baby is Edward
Filmore Basse (about 1 year) the youngest
child out of 12. The photograph was taken about 1857. They
were all born in Tennessee |

Dominic BUSCEMI from Menfi, Sicily, moved his
family to France. His daughter Mary BUSCEMI, married a BASSE
and they came to America. They lived in Virginia. Benjamin
BASSE moved to Tennessee that's where my g.g, grandmother Eleanor
Louisa was born (she's the little girl in the photo by
herself). She married John W. BROWN, When my
great grandfather was 1 year old they moved to Texas. This is my
father's family. My maiden name is BROWN. |
