My gg grandmother was Carmela Calabro. She married Filippo Genovese.  She and her husband were listed as dead in my ggrandparents marriage record in 1851. She lived in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto although I have no proof if she was from there or from another town. I have not done much research on that name yet.

Also the Sgro name I just noticed was on the LDS website when I was looking up one of my surnames there. I believe it stated the the woman was from Reggio Calbria - you may want to put that name into the search on the LDS site.
